The word fruit is often used in the Bible to describe a person's outward actions resulting from the condition of their heart. Our heart is to produce fruit that reflects the true nature of the Holy Spirit by sharing the Word of GOD and the love of Jesus and to live lives of example.
Generous donations make it possible to provide a Bible to anyone in need.
Through Bible studies and fellowship, the men of OCC were mentoring each other, discipling and learning who GOD is, how much Jesus loves them and how the Holy Spirit guides their lives. Some men who had fought against each other on the streets sat side by side talking about Jesus!
Sixty-four men came to Christ in a single service.
Many men of OCC worked on repentance! They worked to turn their negative mindset into positive thoughts. They learned life can be better. They began to want to be a positive influence in their homes, families and communities.
The men of OCC learned a trade through wood shop classes. Those with woodworking skills mentored those who had never used a tape measure. These men also learned repentance. All their completed projects were donated to individuals or communities impacted by crime or to serve those in need.
"Thank You" snack bags are distributed to the staff of OCC, and men and women in law enforcement, as well as firefighters and EMTs.
Projects created in wood shop were auctioned to benefit other ministries.
